A Simple Guide to Screen Printing

Here at Superior Ink, we're dedicated to making sure you have a positive ordering experience, as well as the perfect end product. Nothing is more frustrating than trying to convey your ideas, and not having them received clearly. In order to eliminate headaches and stress for both the client and company, we have outlined our entire process from start to finish! We know that every project is different, but this is a great reference to track the progress of your project. Happy Printing Everyone!

Step One: Quote and mockup have been approved with deposit. We can now order your t shirts, which usually takes about 2-3 business days.Step Two: Garments have been ordered! Sweet! Please allow at least one business day for your items to arrive.Step Three: Count in, stage for production, first inspection of garments. This process usually takes about 2 days to ensure products have arrived, reorder anything that might be missing and check for factory defects.Step Four: Print films & burn screens. We allow a day of preparation to make sure that your artwork is absolutely perfect before getting it on screens.Step Five: Production! Your t shirts are up on the press and being printed! We ask you to allow 4 business days per 5,000 pieces to ensure a smooth process and killer end products. We take pride in our work and want that to show through your pieces.Step Six: Pack and ship! Your order has had a final count out, an inspection and is now complete. We use a day for inspection, to make sure everything looks great. Shipping times will vary based on your location from our warehouse, and we also offer pick up service.

So overall, from start to finish, you’re looking at about 11-12 business days to ensure that everything turns out exactly how you want it. We do offer rush printing for an additional fee. Please note, this is with print ready artwork. If you're looking to have us design a fresh new look for you, please allow us at least two weeks to get that prepared and perfect for you.
